Virginia's POV:
"IN JUST ONE WEEK WE WILL BE HEADING TO UTAH!" I knew this week would go by really slow because let's face it, I've been waiting for this for like six years and my parents finally decided to give in so...yeah, you know it's going to go by slowly!
But I guess I was wrong, before I knew it, before I knew the week had gone by, with the car packed up with all the necessities, we were headed to the airport. This is actually my first time taking a plane so I'm really nervous. As we arrive at the airport, they check our bags, have us go through the metal detector and all the other hoopla! But, I'm so excited!!! And then I see the plane, the last place I'll be on the ground before Utah, as that happens, the excitement builds. We get on the plane and in about a half hour, LIFTOFF!! "In just seven hours and fifteen minutes, we will be in Utah! After so long, I can hardly believe it." For some reason, even though I just woke up, I am extremely tired. Not an hour after liftoff, I fall asleep.
David's POV:
TOUCHDOWN IN NEW YORK!
I am so ready for the show tonight, you can not believe how hyped I am! I've always loved New York, and so does my mom, sadly she didn't get to come this time. The crowds in New York are always so lively, I guess that's why it's called "The Party City" haha. In like 6 hours, we're going to be performing in the Big Apple! I'm raring to go!
HOURS LATER:
The crowd is so pumped from my songs playing in the background, ahhh, I am so blessed to have such great fans like them.
Crowd: "David! David! We want David!!"
Ray: "David, are you ready?"
Me: "As ready as I'll ever be! I'm so excited!"
Ray: "Great to hear, I'll tell your band to start the opening tune, okay?"
Me: "Thanks, Ray!"
About 3 minutes later, I hear the opening tune to my newest single off the album. I know that's my cue to go on, so I grasp the mic I've been holding tighter and start singing backstage. The crowd is screaming because they know the show has started. As soon as the second line starts, I'm in the range of view for the crowd and I hop on out onto the stage to continue the song. The crowd is yelling "David, you are amazing!" "Marry Me!" I think "Like I've never heard that before" and laugh silently to myself. The show continues...
Virginia's Point Of View:
Halfway Across The Country Now:
We got off the plane.
Me: "WE'RE FINALLY IN UTAH!" I took a deep breath in and I smiled so wide that it was even blatant to the most blind of people. I could hear my dad sneaking up behind me. My mom has already noticed my peculiar behavior.
Mom: "Are you alright, honey?"
Me: in an oddly, but hysterical excited voice I exclaim to her "No! I'm Not!"
Dad: "What's the matter?"
Me: "Nothing, what could be wrong? We're in Utah, finally! This is the greatest day of my life!"
As we emerge out of the airport with our luggage, I take a look around and realize the surroundings. Multicolored flowers. Huge trees. And an atmosphere you'd kill to feel.
I whisper to myself: "This is so much better than New York."
Dad: "What was that?"
Me: "Oh, I just said I already really like this place."
Mom: "You know, I do too."
Me: "See? What have I been telling you for 6 years?"
At my mother's words, I caught a glimpse at my father looking around at the scenery.
Dad: "I guess, you were right."
