Virginia's POV:
A week after we visited my parents, David asked me out to go to a charming little restaurant he found while on tour one time. I was really excited to go that night and I hadn't a clue why, I just was. At about 7 o' clock, David and I were ready to go and we drove over to the restaurant. I was really hungry, but I didn't know what I wanted. David walked in very casually, not even hiding his face. He thought that brought attention to himself and I thought that was really intelligent of him.
David: "2 please."
Waiter: "Right this way, Sir" he turned around quickly and I knew he was thinking "OH MY GOD! IT'S DAVID ARCHULETA!" To that, I laughed silently to myself.
I could see he was trying to calm himself to not blow his cover.
Waiter: "Your server will be with your shortly." And with a little skip, he hopped away into the kitchen like a little school girl in a way.
David: "Well that's awkward."
Me: "Haha, you're telling me..." and we both laugh rather loudly.
After about 7 minutes, someone has their eyes locked on David sitting across the table from me and I could tell who it was. It was the server, she was trying to work up the courage to come over to the table and not to fangirl all over him. I remembered how it was with me.
Server: "Hey sweetie, my name is Courtney and I'll be your server tonight. Should we start you off with a drink or are you ready to order?"
David flashes her a smile and I could tell her heart was about to jump out of her chest. "I think we're ready to order, right honey?"
Me: "Umm...yeah" I try to stifle the laughs I'm about to choke up.
Courtney takes our order and when she walks away and David looks right back at me, I watch her walk away. She takes the order form and starts fanning herself and I can no longer hold the laughs back and I burst out laughing.
David: "What's so funny?!"
Me: "Did you see her?"
David: "No, I only see you."
Me: "Awww, David. What has gotten into you tonight, you've been so romantic."
David: "I don't know..." he slides his eyes gracefully to the left. I know he was just not saying why and he knew why, but maybe it was a private matter. I smile at him and he smiles back, now, I kind of felt like that waitress.
Courtney comes back about 10 minutes later with our food and we thank her. As soon as she leaves, we begin to eat our food. For some bizarre reason, David didn't take his eyes off of me. I was getting really discomposed and he noticed, like he always did, and he took his eyes off of me to look down at his plate.
Me: "David, why do you keep looking at me?"
David: "Just admiring your beauty."
I blush and look to the side, trying to hide it, but it never works, he knows me too well.
David: "And that's something I love about you."
Me: "What?"
David: "How you get so embarrassed by the slightest complement. How you don't want to show it. How you love without a word. And how you feel without touch."
Me: "Woah, David! You're a poet now?"
David: "Not exactly, just came to my head..."
Me: "You're making me cry...don't do this to me."
David: "Do what?"
Me: "You know..." I start making hand motions...
David: "Well..."
