Reasons To Call This "Long Awaited:"
1. Virginia Presley was in love with David Archuleta for 11 years before he proposed to her and they got married. 11 years is a really long time to be in love. In this time, she hasn't had a boyfriend, except when she was 19. As we followed her throughout the 6 years we've been with her, William, the boy who sexually harassed her and Justin, the man who fooled her, were her boyfriends. William made Virginia close off and that made Justin and David's jobs harder. Virginia was never one to give herself away, give her love and trust away like that, it would take some time for her to finally decide to. Justin finally got to her. Back on track now, Virginia had been in love with David for some time now, she had already given her trust and love away. She was never fully in love with William or with Justin. She actually never called Justin her boyfriend until Allison did behind-the-scenes. Virginia had always had fantasies that David and her would someday meet and fall in love and now that that has actually happened, her dreams have come true. This was the "Long Awaited" moment.
2. In chapter 13, Virginia and David met for the first time in their lives and they felt an instant connection. David never knew what it was and actually, he tried denying it when he started to fall for her, but he could no longer in chapter the chapter titled: "It Took Him Two Years." It took him that long to finally say that he loved her. It took him that long to finally accept all that he has been feeling. Spending sleepless nights and hours upon hours thinking about her must've been tough. That moment in chapter 19 and 20, where he finally said it and decided to go after her was to "Long Awaited" decisions and acceptances.
3. As I said, Virginia and David met for the first time in chapter 13...simply put...Virginia always wanted to meet him and had no clue until "The Fireside" that she would be meeting him, courtesy of James and hidden by their friends. This meeting was also 'Long Awaited!' Sorry for all the puns, but I'm just trying to explain.
4. Virginia was pregnant and was an avid feature in searching for David and finding clues and all of this, but despite that...it still took them 8 months. She was ready to plan a funeral. She had the video telling the fans of David's fate, of his death, already recorded and Chase was ready to let her upload it when Marissa, "The Missing Link," came and told them all the information they needed to find David. Everything changed. This was the 'Long Awaited' hint.
5. And lastly, the 'Long Awaited' finding of David Archuleta in captivity, thanks to Miley, Demi, and Selena...WHO SUCK! After 8 months, many people and many false statements, they found David Archuleta bound in the basement of Miley's childhood home in Long Island. Virginia demanded to go inside and get him and see her husband for the first time in so long. And while there, we all remember, she went into labor. I assume it was from the excitement and the mixed emotions she was feeling and that she was so far along when they finally found him. It was a shock and that little spark set off a chain reaction.
So this is why the series was actually called, "Long Awaited." If any of you were a little unclear on this, I hope what I have just taken the time to write cleared everything up.
