I just really brought Virginia to Utah to see how she would get along with everyone, I was not expecting to have all the friends she made here. When they did reveal themselves, it appeared like she was more at home so if it made her more relaxed and comfortable, I was content with this set-up. For most of the night, I really just sat back and watched how she was getting along with my family and stuff. Sometimes I engaged in conversations, mostly to complement her statements and things, but I mainly just wanted to observe the night. One thing I found out that night that I never thought of asking her was her political party. My mom started talking about politics, I never knew she was so passionate about the subject...but she was explaining something about a past President and what he did wrong. That night, I found out she was a Republican and agreed 100% with my mother. That made me VERY happy!
When her friends began to leave at the end of the night, she started to get really bored and sat down on the chair next to me, hoping for a conversation so I gave it to her.
Me: "Seems like you get along great with my family. I'm glad!"
Virginia: "Ahh, I love you family! They are so sweet! And nice!"
Me: "Haha, I guess they got the right impression from you!"
After a few seconds of silence, I hear her ringtone go off and it was the song I wrote for her.
Me: "Gin! You didn't!"
Virginia: "What? You wrote it for me and I love it, so!"
I shake my head at her and feign disappointment, she laughs and picks up her phone and goes to the other room and talk in private.
Virginia's POV:
I pick up my phone and escort myself out of the room. I wanted to speak with the unknown caller in private. Soon, I look down at the caller ID and it says "restricted" and I automatically think it's my mother, my father, or a friend calling from a landline. I pick it up and answer it casually.
Me: "Hey! What's up?"
Caller: "Hello" a mysterious, female tone answers. I've never heard this voice before.
Me: "Uhh, hi, who is this?"
Caller: "No one of your concern."
Me: "Um, yeah it is. You called my cell phone. Who are you?"
Caller: "Who do you think I am?"
Me: "I don't know. Rachel? Allison? Amanda? Jennifer?"
Caller: "Nuh-uh"
And the line disconnects. I do not have any information to link the call back to any source. The phone call was too short for police to track and they couldn't now that she's hung up. This was very strange, to say the least. I try to find everything I can about this unknown, mystery caller by using my cellphone..callback number: nothing. call source: nada. I even went to try to get the restricted number to pop up, but with no luck. While I'm looking down at my phone I feel a hand touch my shoulder and I jump.
David: "Woah, a little jumpy, are we? What happened?"
Me: "Uhh, I just got a weird call. Nothing big, I don't think."
David: "I don't know. Did it say what number it was?"
Me: "No, it just came up as restricted."
David: "Probably a wrong number or something."
He takes his hand and picks my head up. He looks deeply into my eyes and takes notice of something out of character for me.
David: "You don't look so good."
Me: "What do you mean, David?"
David: "You look like you saw a ghost. What did the person say?"
Me: "Nothing important or that could help me locate the person. It just felt like very..." and I shake and he feels me do so. He takes me in his arms and gives me a big hug.
David: "There's nothing to worry about, yet. Calm down."
Me: "I suppose you're right. I got to stop being such a worry-wart."
