"Long Awaited" Chapter 34: "Locked In Love"

Narration:

This was not going to turn out well for anyone. David loves Virginia. Virginia loves David. Justin loves Virginia. Miley loves David. Miley was planning a way to get to David, but no one knew what it was except for her. For the next few months, she kept herself locked up in her room...only taking leave to eat, and go outside in the fresh air, but she usually opened the window for that. She was busy at work with her devious plan, unfolding in her demented mind. To make things worse, nobody knew what she was working on and not many people cared to know so she was free to take as much time as she wanted. Justin hadn't heard from her in so long he thought she killed herself. He didn't want to go over to her house to see if she was alright because the conscience would fight its way back to the surface and he didn't want to feel the remorse and resentment that he had before. She was there, undisturbed, for a year. She was ready to put her plan into action.

Virginia's POV:

For the next year after I left Justin to be with David, everything was working out fine. Between us and between us and the world. Honestly, it was quite laid back and everything I remember from when we were friends...when I was on vacation in Utah over three years ago. But as soon as that one day came, it started getting scary. This is what happened:

David took me to Utah to see a surprise or something. I never really got a straight forward answer on why he wanted to take me to Utah, but he did and I happily agreed to go. When we got to Utah, I finally understood why he wanted to take me. I remembered he wanted to introduce me to his WHOLE family. I had already met Daniel, but I guess he wanted to see how I got along with his little sister. Well, she wasn't little anymore. She was actually 20 now, I had to remember to do that math before I entered the house. "David is 28, I'm 22 and Amber is 2 years younger than me...okay, she's 20!" To my surprise, all of the Archuletas were at the house. I didn't think that Melissa Jasmine, nevermind Claudia would be there. I am usually very restricted around company so I told David before he led me inside. He said it was fine and to just be myself, there was nothing wrong with being a little shy. David knew I was nervous so he went inside before me and helped me inside. Why was I this nervous? I shouldn't be, it was just his family!

David: "Guys, this is Virginia!"

Daniel: "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" he says in a playful manner

Lupe: "Hey honey!" she starts to look at me in an uncomfortable manner. "Have I seen you before?"

Me: "Uhh, maybe, just once."

Lupe: "When?"

Me: "Like three years ago?"

Lupe: "With James and the others, right?"

Me: "YEAH! You remembered! By the way, how are they doing?"

Lupe: "I don't know, you can ask them yourself."

As soon as she said that...James, Veronica, Jessica, Cody, Casey, and Kevin come out of the kitchen.

James: "Virginia! I see everything is worked out!"

Me: "Uhh, yeah!" I smile a teasing smile at him.

He walks past me without making a sound and whispers: "What I tell you! So happy!" in my ear and I blush a little. David didn't see, for that, I was thankful!
